maternity photos | part one

a few weeks ago i had an impromptu photo session with yes, myself. i have been enjoying these last few weeks of pregnancy so much that i wanted to make sure i captured it better than i did with my first child. i only took a few photos when i was pregnant with madison but i really want to remember the tiny kicks and movements while pregnant with baby m. i feel super weird sharing these photos, especially because there is a maternity photos part two- but i'm just gonna roll with it. these were taking in our bedroom, by me, with my tripod. some are a little out of focus, mainly because i was hitting the button and running into the frame but enjoy :) still weird seeing so much of me and baby m-- but i feel so blessed! 

3 years married | 8 years together

today we celebrate our third anniversary together as husband and wife. this inspired me to 1. go through old wedding photos that i still haven't framed or turned into a book yet and 2. let madison try on my wedding dress. she was so excited to wear the dress, veil & even high heeled shoes. it was such an adorable moment. she said to me "mama, someday when i grow up- can i wear your dress and veil at my wedding" it melted me. 
anyways, i know i shared photos on our two year anniversary last year so i am sorry if any of these are repeats but i wanted to share just a few more of my favorites from one of the happiest days of my life...the day i become mrs. starkey. i am so lucky to have such a wonderful and caring husband. i could go on...and on...and on- but i won't. i will simply say i love you matt and happy three years

 

in pictures | holiday lights

nothing reminds me more of the holidays than christmas lights. we had a few extra strands of lights since our new tree came pre-lit & madison asked if we could hang some in her room. i thought, why not! but before hand i wanted to snap a few photos of her tangled up in the lights because let's admit it, we have all seen those adorable photos on pinterest of kids and christmas lights. i wanted one to frame & bring out with my christmas decor...and lamb had to be in the photos also. choose your battles. happy holidays.

i am feeling so beyond blessed right now. i am usually the person behind the camera but because of my talented brother in law, we were able to get some shots of my family. thank you so much chris! we appreciate your time more than anything. happy holidays from the starkey family.

meet the adcock family. this mini session was very special to me as i got to photograph my big sister and her beautiful family. aren't avery & anderson just the cutest?! here are just a few of my favorites from our little time together. love them so much! 

 

fall fun

now i remember exactly why i agreed to move to north carolina from pennsylvania. it's november and today we wore skirts and t-shirts. what a beautiful day & we still have fall leaves to play in. here are just a bunch of fall photos from our walk in the leaves today as a family. enjoy some photos of madison & i think husband will make an appearance in one :)  happy fall days to you all...i hope you also enjoyed some fresh air during this weekend. 

monte & maureen | a butler, pa wedding
